A family-owned and operated company since its origin, Fisher Development Associates is a diversified real estate development and management concern that today possesses the same values and commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction that founder Lester Fisher stressed when he embarked as a partner with Fisher Brothers on a career in real estate development 60 years ago. With a building philosophy rooted in the integration of the finest materials, world-class design, quality construction and a meticulous attention to detail, Fisher Development Associates is one of the most respected developers in the Northeast; its numerous success stories dotting the landscape in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut with signature residential, commercial and hotel properties.

Already a staple in the national development scene as a partner in the construction, management and ownership of more than 100 residential buildings and millions of square feet of office space — including such prominent New York addresses as 1345 Avenue of the Americas, Bankers Trust Plaza, 299 Park Avenue and 50 Sutton Place – Lester Fisher joined forces with his son Brian Fisher to form Fisher Development Associates, LLC. The company’s extensive cross-disciplinary resources and long-standing relationships with prominent lending institutions spurred considerable growth and allowed it to remain on solid financial footing during up and down markets.

In the past decade alone, Fisher Development Associates has successfully executed 3,500,000 square feet of new construction development and approximately 2,000,000 square feet of tenant installations. In addition to residential and commercial development, the multi-faceted company is involved in all aspects of property management, including maintenance, leasing, tenant relations and finance. Fisher Development’s impressive portfolio of properties today includes Headquarters Plaza in Morristown, N.J., a mixed use development comprising 600,000 square-feet of office space, 165,000 square feet of retail and a full service 256-room Hyatt Regency hotel and conference center. Yet, the company’s focus remains on cutting edge residential development in New York City and along New Jersey’s Hudson River Gold Coast. In Manhattan, Fisher Development Associates has been responsible for Gateway Plaza at Battery Park City, three 34-story buildings and three low-rise buildings totaling 1,700 rental homes, while across the river in the City of Hoboken, Fisher introduced Hudson Park, a 302-unit luxury rental building.

Fisher Development Associates has developed thousands of residential apartments in Jersey City, where its dramatic offerings in the downtown waterfront district’s residential marketplace contributed to a development and economic boom that hoisted Jersey City to national prominence. Fisher Development completed Liberty Towers — two high-rise rental buildings featuring 648 luxury apartments and 24,000 square feet of retail space — in 2003, and Liberty Terrace, a 119-unit luxury condominium building, in 2006 and Crystal Point, an iconic residential building rising 42 stories on the final piece of developable land in downtown Jersey City directly facing Manhattan. Fisher Development is currently constructing a high-rise luxury development containing 900 apartments overlooking the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline.
